Steven and ryan were my babies they were born asleep at 02.55 am on the morning of 15th of september 2000 after my waters breaking the previous day after just 5 months into my pregnancy. I had a condition where the placenta was in the wrong place and twin to twin transfusion syndrome which meant steven (9&3qtr oz) was bigger than ryan (7&half oz). I was told if i would have gone full term in my pregnancy they could've been stillborn that also runs in the family. I'm so glad i held them and said goodbye. There funeral was held a week later in sthelens crematorium (i chose this because i could not bear them to be put in the cold ground and left alone the weather was very cold at the time) i carried their white shoebox size coffin in to the sounds of john lennon's imagine because of the lyrics "i hope some day you'll join us" were there was a lovely service and my babies left the earth to the sounds of the hollies song "he ain't heavy he's my brother" i found this choice of song appropriate considering they are brothers. We were devastated myself all the family. Even though they never had a chance of life they are and always will be my 2 babies,your spirit's are very much alive in your little brother jake and charlie who will arrive in october.
